deepweld certification centre

Welcome to the DEEPWELD Certification Centre, your gateway to recognised training in Deep-Tech Driven Inclusive and Socially-Aware Circular Material Joining & Welding (CMW).

Through our micro-credential certification system, we support professionals in acquiring the essential deep-tech, green, and digital skills needed to transform the welding and material joining industry for a safer and more circular future.

The DEEPWELD certification is designed for HEI learners, VET learners (both secondary/high school and tertiary), and current employees working in companies engaged in welding, especially those in the automotive and construction sectors. The training consists of courses aligned with EQF Level 5 and 6 and developed in line with EIT DTTI, ECTS/EQUIS, and ECVET/EQAVET quality standards.

Upon successful completion of the course and final assessment, learners will receive a DEEPWELD Micro-Credential Certificate via EUROPASS. This certificate:

  • Validates your new skills in deep-tech enabled circular material welding.
  • Can be delivered as an automated micro-credential.
  • Can include the EIT Label (if approved).
  • Can be integrated into formal and non-formal learning pathways, offering 3 ECTS/ECVET credits.
  • You will receive a Certificate of achievement from the course provider and a Digital badge.

Training Programs

We offer two distinct training programs to meet the needs of both practitioners and educators in the CMW field.

Training Plan & Certification Process

  1. Access and Study the Course Materials: Engage with all provided educational resources, which include modules covering the five key areas of CMW.
  2. Complete the Final Assessment: Take the designated online multiple-choice quiz corresponding to your training pathway (Learner or Trainer).
  3. Achieve the Minimum Passing Score: Successfully attain the required score on the assessment to demonstrate your competency in the learned material.
  4. Receive Your Micro-credential: Upon successful completion, your Europass certification will be delivered electronically.

1. CMW Learner Course

This program focuses on developing the practical skills for deep-tech enabled circular material welding.

Course Section

Key Focus Areas

Section 1

Advanced material joining/welding in a deep-tech enabled circular economy. Focuses on leveraging recycled materials for high-quality, sustainable manufacturing.

Section 2

Innovative deep-tech enabled welding methods such as GMAW, GTAW, SMAW, FCAW. Covers advanced techniques for improved weld quality, efficiency, and adaptability.

Section 3

Human-machine interaction in welding through automation, assistive technologies and automated AI-powered quality assurance. Enhances precision, safety, and inclusion, creating opportunities for individuals with disabilities.

Section 4
